In the Meantime: How to Support Immigrant Skill Building While Waiting for Federal Action on Immigration

This 2015 guide for funders recommends three avenues for supporting immigrant workforce education initiatives: augment direct service programs, further develop effective programs, and implement and sustain insightful policy.  It is anticipated that there will be skills requirements for immigrants, no matter what the outcome of pending federal action.  These recommendations give insight into the best way to provide funding to fill the existing and anticipated need for training programs for immigrants.
