Keeping the Promises of Workforce Education: 2016 Annual National Council for Workforce Education Conference

October 12, 2016 - October 13, 2016

Organization: National Council for Workforce Education (NCWE)
Website: www.ncwe.org

CCCIE will be presenting at this year’s annual 2016 NCWE conference on the “Equity and Diversity in Workforce Development” track. We hope to see you there! The conference will feature hands-on sessions focused on practical solutions to workforce challenges, a great line-up of keynote speakers, and five different conference tracks, including “Equity and Diversity in Workforce Development.”

CCCIE and partners will presenting a panel discussion, Community College Partnerships to Serve a Diverse Immigrant Workforce, that will explore a range of college-CBO-employer collaborations to increase immigrants’ college and career readiness and assure their transition to additional education, training, or jobs.

We’re also participating in a roundtable discussion with WES Global Talent Bridge, Helping Immigrants Navigate Career Pathways, focused on how community colleges and CBOs can use WES GTB-CCCIE’s latest career guidance tools and resources to help immigrant students better understand how they can translate their foreign education into a viable educational and career pathway.
